Sr. Sales Manager
The Senior Sales Manager will lead business development and account strategy efforts across key automotive and Tier 1 manufacturing customers. This is a high-impact role responsible for expanding GEO’s footprint in the North American battery market. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in chemical materials and experience managing large enterprise relationships across technical and commercial functions.
•Own and drive account strategy, relationship management, and revenue growth with key OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
•Translate customer needs into actionable internal plans across sales, technical, and R&D teams
•Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial planning
•Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and proposals
•Monitor market trends and identify business development opportunities
•Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product introductions and customer onboarding
•Represent GEO at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Qualifications:
•Master’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
•5–8 years of technical B2B sales experience in the chemical materials or battery industry
•Deep knowledge of electrolytes, lithium-ion battery systems, and OEM purchasing cycles
•Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and closing large deals
•Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
